THE IDEA
Give new life to old, forgotten coins

THE HISTORY
Queen Elizabeth II was the longest reigning monarch in British history. As head of State, the Church of England and the Commonwealth, her reign spanned 15 British Prime Ministers.

This round style of £1 coins were minted between 1983 and 2016, when they were replaced by bi-metalic coins due to high levels of counterfeiting.

This 1994 coin shows a lion rampant, signifying Scotland. Along the edge reads NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT ('No one attacks me with impunity'), the Latin motto of the Royal Stuart dynasty.

THE FEEL
These pound coins have come from general circulation, so show a bit of history by their little bumps or scratches.

They are very pleasingly thick coins (2.8mm) and are just over 2cm wide.

THE DETAILS
Each coin is polished, painted and covered in a chip-resistant coating. It comes on a backing card, with a sturdy keychain and packaged in a small brown envelope.

All shipping is at cost price. Contact me about any questions you have!
